I often say to Benson, “Don’t you love our cat?!” to which he always replies, “I like Harold, I don’t love Harold.”
Below, I have compiled some pictures of Benson not loving Harold…
Here, Benson doesn’t love Harold while he pulls him close and plays the piano for him:
This picture depicts Benson not loving Harold while laying on the floor just to be near him after a hard day at work:
This shot was taken after Benson called Harold into the bedroom. We see Benson not loving Harold while he naps with his arm around Harold.
Here we have Benson not loving Harold while he studies.
In this picture, Benson doesn’t love Harold while he scoops him up and says to me, “Hey, look at me and Harold” and caresses him.
Benson not loving Harold while he snuggles with him on the couch and makes sure Harold has enough blanket.
So listen, people. Benson doesn’t love Harold, not even a little. Got it?

Ha! Yeah, his non-love is do obvious.
Harold doesn’t love Benson either…he just using him to keep warm, have fun, and to become the smartest cat in Texas. Go Harold
🙂 at least it’s a mutual non-love.
Reminds me of when Aaron “didn’t love” a stray cat he affectionately named El Tigre and fed tuna and milk. He still swore he “hated cats” but felt sorry for the little fur ball. Mmm-hmmm.
Yeah, Benson doesn’t love the dog either.
Nice Benson, Nice
